Earlier this year, Katie introduced us to a few of the top predicted Wedding Trends for 2016 but she told you we would be going into more detail on the predicted trends for, more specifically, Wedding Flowers, so here we go! The first flower trend, as released by the International Floral Distributers, a leading authority on all things flowers, is Festival!

Denim blue, sunshine yellow, red, and hot orange are all in the mix, but they are carefully curated and combined to allow each color to really pop. The Festival bride plans her event as an extension of her quirky and casual personal style. A textural wildflower style gives Festival amazing options in flower varieties. Alstroemeria, sunflower, daisy, delphinium, gerbera, solidaster, common flowers used in uncommon combinations bring Festival to life. Mixed textures of yarn, wool, beads, and jute combine with vessels of pottery, wood, and rattan to give Festival it’s organic and free-spirited style.

Festival adds a splash of fun color to the Bohemian trend, and the result is bright and colorful while still being relaxed and care-free. What do you think of the Festival trend? Tell us in the comments below!
