Bouquet Breakdown: DIY Garden Wedding

One trend that we’ve been seeing more and more on Pinterest and various style blogs is the lush, green- and flower-heavy Garden Wedding. Usually more contemporary and less polished, this is an excellent choice for the novice florist or DIY bride because imperfect is essentially the name of the game with this trend. Playing with varying textures and heights means that perfectly rounded–sometimes difficult to achieve–arrangements aren’t what you need to be striving for to attain this look. One beautiful example of this trend was showcased by one of our DIY brides, Monique, in her Flower Story! She chose a rich palette of berry, cream, deep pinks, and pops of lavender, accented with flowing strands of Seeded Eucalyptus and Tree Fern. The results were absolutely stunning, see for yourself in this bouquet breakdown:

Monique ordered the (ultra-customizable) 200 Roses and 300 Carnations Wedding Flower Combo Pack for her Lavender Roses, Cream Carnations, Hot Pink Stock, Seeded Eucalyptus, and Tree Fern. She supplemented this pack with the Purpleberry Dahlia-Style Cushion Flowers, Dark Cherry Gerrondo Daisies, and Yves Piaget Peony Roses. Want to see more from Monique’s wedding?
