At the onset of the new year, this bride and groom exchanged their vows in a lush, velvety DIY dreamscape. Using a minimal amount of elements, like foraged pampas grass, fresh-cut eucalyptus, pink proteas, red hanging amaranthus, white roses, and burgundy/plum bahlias, Ashley’s wedding vision came to life. Being an avid crafter, DIYer, and floral enthusiast, Ashley was delighted to see how easily and budget-savvy her wedding through FiftyFlowers could be. Her attention to detail is seen in every piece of her wedding, as well as her passion for creating a wedding that was a little more extra than the average wedding with her bridal party bouquet hoop, entirely pampas grass arch hoop, and groom’s pink velvet jacket.
In her own words on her DIY Instagram (@livinbelow), Ashley says “I have so many DIY favorites but seriously my own bouquet is definitely at the top. Obsessed with the proteas and hanging amaranthus which were so unique and made my bouquet just pop! Can I be a bride forever?!?”
